Our flagship program is working with Little Free Library® to support the network of Little Free Library book-sharing boxes throughout Georgia.
The goal of this program is to help stewards of existing book-sharing boxes maintain their libraries and keep diverse books in stock.
We partner with Team LFL and First Book to help stewards get new and diverse books for their communities.
We also collaborate with local communities and organizations to install new Little Free Libraries and partner with other literacy programs to distribute books at community events.
Last year we installed three new Little Free Library Read in Color® book-sharing boxes from Family Literacy of Georgia.
We partner with The Book Bug in Thomaston to give away brand-new books at community events. Each book includes a QR code that links to a list of local Little Free Libraries, encouraging families to share their books after they’ve finished reading them.
Our second Read & Share program will launch in Glynn County this summer!
We can also help you start a Read & Share book distribution program in your community.
We are currently recruiting Board Members to oversee the governance of our organization. The time commitment is only 2-3 hours each quarter and all meetings are virtual.
